PICK UP ART WORK
May 2, 2022 from 11 - 4pm only
There is no space for artwork storage. Artwork must be picked or provisions for shipping back to artist must be made by providing a self addressed and prepaid box with appropriate packing for it's safe return.
All Mediums Accepted, Up to 3 entries per artist, ALL work must be original, Size limit 24" x 30" (dimensions do not include frame)

If you have entered a previous show on the ArtCall.org site, click on the "login" button, above, to log in to your account and you will be taken to the page that says "update user profile for this call" - check that your phone number is correct and then pay the $30 fee. Boxes will then pop up saying "Payment successful, a payment receipt was emailed to you" and "Registration successful, a confirmation was emailed to you. You may now submit your submissions." You will then be able to click on the orange "+ add new submissions" button and upload your images. Be sure to check your spam folder for the confirmation emails. If this is your first time entering a show using this site, please view the tutorial at the very bottom of this page. Click on the "start" button to start the video and then click on the "full screen" square icon in the lower right corner to enlarge the video. Per the video, you will be clicking on the "register" button, above, you will fill out your info to register and pay the $30 fee, and then you will be taken to a page where you may submit up to three images.
You may submit if you’re a California artist & your original work was made within the past 2 years.

GENERAL PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
We strive to protect your work. To prevent possible damage to it, artwork must be appropriately prepared for exhibition when delivered.
1) Two-dimensional work must be wired with sufficient gauge to support the weight of the work and be ready to hang. If your work requires atypical hanging, please contact the Gallery prior to delivery dates for clearance. Special hanging, display and/or lighting requirements will be at the discretion of the EAP staff.
2) Installation and multiple piece works must include a simple diagram showing installation positions.
3) Accepted artwork may not be removed before the end of the exhibition.
Artwork that fails to comply with entry requirements will be disqualified.
There is a 40% commission on works in the exhibition.
LIABILITY
By submitting I acknowledge that I have read and understand the general presentation requirements of the exhibition and will abide by them. The greatest possible care will be taken in handling art works. The EAP and/or their agents will not be responsible for loss or damage to any artwork submitted.

Third Place $100, 2 Honorable Mentions - $25
Award winners receive a Surfing Madonna Swag bag including a Medal of Artistic Excellence

PARKING
Parking in the area is primarily residential, with spots filling up on a first come first serve basis. There is a public beach lot three blocks north. There is a loading area in front of the gallery on Avenida de la Playa for quick drop-off when available.
NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE/NON-ACCEPTANCE
Accepted artists witll be notified by the email you provided. Accepted artists will be displayed on our Web Gallery for six months.
