Ever since I visited my first Monet exhibition SDMA years ago, I dreamed of visiting his house in France. My dream came true when I had the opportunity to not only visit, but paint “plain air” in Monet’s gardens and alongside the pond. I will never forget the feeling I had, surrounded by all the beauty there! The memory of that is what inspired me to paint “Pond in Bloom”.
